Of course we’ve heard the current Presidential Candidates’ debates on what to do with the energy crisis currently happening in America.

As a country, we NEED to take a step in a different direction. Sorry to say, but oil is not the answer to our problems. That includes drilling for more. It simply would provide a patch to a huge problem we face in America – an infrastructure that depends on it.

There are those that claim that the price of oil will drop in the meantime because we would drill for oil. To me, this sounds like an excuse to be lazy and not come up with a solution. Even if we did have a few breakthroughs (which we will), the price of oil will drop anyways, because of our new-found discoveries.

Where do these discoveries lie? Renewable resources for one. Independent Printing purchases energy that comes from a variety of renewable resources like wind turbines and naturally occurring gases from local farm wastes and landfills (biogas).
